Ross Foundation Information page

The Ross Foundation is a non-profit origination that owns land all over the state of Arkansas. This land is open to the public for the use of camping, hiking, horseback and ATV riding. After our most recent ATV ride, at their Hot Spings location off of Camp Rd, we noticed that there were excessive amounts of LITTER along the trails and parking areas. In order to maintain the ability to access these trails, we need to step up and STOP LITTERING. We had a Clean-up day on
Feb 20, 2010 from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Camp Road Parking Area and had a BIG turn out. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU THAT HELPED!!

On JANUARY 4TH, 2010 the Ouachita National Forest signed the Travel Management Plan which closes 99.9% of all traditional and user created routes, to add injury to insult they included heavy restrictions to Wolf Pen Gap. these restrictions include WEEKENDS and HOLIDAYS ONLY between MAY 15TH, and SEPTEMBER 15th ( Saturday & Sunday ), Rain closure until inspection if 1/4 inch of rain is precipited in 1 hour. this is a clear violation of right of the OHV community. As we planned on riding the Brady Mountain area in Hot Spring in February 2010 we were hold by the park ranger that we could not ride the trails, that they are closed to motor traffic and that we only could ride the gravel roads. i have not seen any information about the area being close to ATV's and the ranger could not give me any information to back him clam other than if they seen me off on a trail i would get a ticket. so ride at your on risk. if you find information on this area please send it to me, Thanks.
